A vastly overpriced, but small, desktop computer - the slightly more performant and even more overpriced version of the 800 € Rag Mini.
As with the cheaper version, both CPU and SSD are soldered in - why? Because that's what Crapple gets the highest margin on. Can't have you upgrade that damn thing yourself now, can they?
But, here are the details - for those of you who are part of the chosen ones and able to build your own:
As usual, we took the money and ran... uuuuh, I mean, we made a couple of interesting alternatives you can order and build at home.
You get the added maintainability and the freedom to choose your OS - and you even get to save some money you can spend on awesome shit!
You want to see what 1250 Euros can buy you if you don't go Crapple? Give this one a whirl.
Check it out!All the component prices are subject to change. Assembling the computer is required, obviously. Paying the kid next door is not recommended, but still preferable to buying prebuilt.
An operating system is required to run the computer - Linux is a free and very usable option, or pick whatever you like.
The beer and coffee cost of assembling a computer is not included in the price.
The leftover-money-purchases are not investment advice, nor mandatory. They exist as a gauge of how much you'd overpay for the computer in question if you were to purchase prebuilt.
